Wheelchair or Limited Mobility Seating

Tickets may be purchased at TPAC.ORG, by phone at 615-782-4040, and in person at the TPAC Box Office. Tell the ticketing agent you need accessible seating or select your seats from an Accessible section when you purchase tickets on TPAC.ORG.

Parking

Convenient accessible parking is designated on the north side of 6th Avenue, between Deaderick Street and Dr. Martin L. King Jr. Blvd. Parking is free at any of the meters near TPAC and War Memorial Auditorium with the required state permit displayed. Parking is not permitted when meters are bagged.

Valet parking is provided by Metropolis Parking during most publicly ticketed events at TPAC. Valet drop-off is located on 6th Avenue by the marquee entrance to TPAC near the corner of Deaderick Street. Paying for valet is convenient via a link texted to your cell phone upon drop off. The current rate is $44 per vehicle. Metropolis is unable to accept cash payment for valet services. We recommend visiting Metropolis online, to create your account in advance.

Entrances

Entrances to TPAC are fully accessible. Enter TPAC under the marquee on 6th Avenue or at the ramp to the right of the Deaderick Street entrance to the building. The accessible entrance to War Memorial Auditorium is located on Union Street, midway between 6th and 7th Avenues. From the sidewalk adjoining Legislative Plaza, take the ramp to the first level of the plaza and turn left. The ramp connects with the pedestrian crossing on Union Street. As you approach from Union Street, the accessible double door is on the side of the building facing Vietnam Veteran’s courtyard.

Ramps

Inside TPAC, a ramp joins the lobbies of Jackson Hall and Polk Theater.

Elevators

Elevator access is available to all levels of Jackson Hall and Johnson Theater. Elevator access is only available on the Orchestra levels of Polk Theater and War Memorial Auditorium. There is no elevator access to the upper levels of Polk Theater or War Memorial Auditorium. Braille signage is in the elevators leading to Jackson Hall, Polk Theater, and Johnson Theater.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available at no cost for use at any theater at TPAC and at War Memorial Auditorium. Please request at least two days prior to when you plan to attend, as they are available on a “first come, first served” basis. To request assistance with special needs or to reserve a wheelchair, contact our Accessible Services team. We’re happy to meet patrons at the curb at the main entrance to provide assistance as needed. Trained staff are available onsite to assist with seating of mobility devices.

Wheelchair and Limited Mobility Seating

Seating next to a companion is available to patrons who use wheelchairs. When buying tickets to a performance at TPAC, let the ticket agent know that a guest is attending with a wheelchair. Trained staff and volunteers are available to assist with seating and accommodating mobility devices.

In Jackson Hall, wheelchair accessibility is available in the back of the Orchestra level in rows Y and Z. Seats in these rows can be removed to accommodate a wheelchair or left in place for a companion. Other limited mobility seating is available in the Tier level of Jackson Hall, accessible by elevator. Patrons can access rows E and P of the Tier without crossing interior stairs.

In Polk Theater, wheelchair accessible seating is located at the back of the Orchestra in house right and left. Next to space for a wheelchair, a padded chair can be added for a companion.

In Johnson Theater, there is space for a wheelchair and a padded chair for a companion in front of the stationary seating platforms. Seats in the first row can be accessed without climbing stairs, followed by one stair step for the following rows.

In War Memorial Auditorium, a flexible space, wheelchair seating is available in specially designated areas on the Orchestra level.

Restrooms

Accessible restrooms with Braille signage are in the back of Jackson Hall and near the entrances to Polk Theater and Johnson Theater. Restrooms on Level G of Jackson Hall Lobby and the lower level of War Memorial Auditorium are accessible by elevator.
