Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) operates one of the most unique facilities of its kind with three performance venues featuring multiple, state-of-the-art capabilities.

Opened in 1980, the James K. Polk Cultural Center which TPAC calls home is located near the state capitol in downtown Nashville. In addition, TPAC manages War Memorial Auditorium, a nearby multi-purpose and historic concert venue that currently closed for renovation and unavailable for rental.

TPAC accommodates major music, dance, theatrical, and television productions, along with performances in intimate settings and a wide variety of such events as award ceremonies, films, recitals, product launches, receptions, and meetings. All performances open to the general public are featured on TPAC’s electronic marquee, while clients have access to our lobby screens for special acknowledgments, if desired.

All events in TPAC-managed venues are booked through the Programming & Sales Department which you can reach by calling 615-782-4086 between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday, or by submitting a request through the Rental Information Form.
