Johnson Theater
Andrew Johnson Theater, a 59’0” x 54’0” black box theater, is the most flexible and intimate performance space in the James K. Polk Cultural Center.
Designed to encourage experimentation in theatre, music, and dance, it offers freedom in spatial arrangement for both audience and performers, including thrust, cabaret, and in-the-round seating. Maximum seating capacity is 264. This space also features overhead catwalks.
