Andrew Johnson Theater, a 59’0” x 54’0” black box, is the most flexible and intimate performance space in the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Designed to encourage experimentation in theatre, music, and dance, it offers freedom in spatial arrangement for both audience and performers, including the popular “in-the-round” seating. Maximum seating capacity is 264. This space also features overhead catwalks.
