Tennesseans have outstanding organizations working to bring more arts to every community and school. The Metro Arts Commission and the Tennessee Arts Commission contribute significantly to TPAC Education services and outreach. TENNESSEE ARTS COMMISSION (TAC)
Arts Supporters From Across The State Attend Arts Advocacy Day
Tennesseans for the Arts (TFTA) sponsored Arts Advocacy Day on March 15, and the event was attended by arts supporters from all regions of the state. According to Tom Turk, executive director of TFTA, the event was a tremendous success. Rich Boyd, executive director of the Tennessee Arts Commission, addressed the group and spoke about the importance of the arts, and the relevance of the arts in our everyday lives. NASHVILLE TN – The research is done and the verdict is in: Visitors to Nashville are looking for many of the same things in a destination that we Nashvillians are working toward in a place to live – warm, friendly and safe city; one that's unique and has a strong identity; and one that celebrates and offers its historical, cultural and civic assets to all comers, residents and visitors alike.
